Safety Principles for KinLark Activities

The safety rules KinLark uses when suggesting parent-led, screen-free activities for young children.

Parent-led by default

Activities are written for adults to lead. Children should not use KinLark as a child-facing chatbot.

Every activity should be short, supervised, and easy to stop if a child is tired, upset, or using materials unsafely.

Materials to avoid

Activities should avoid heat, sharp tools, chemicals, button batteries, small magnets, breakable objects, and unsupervised water.

For children under 3, avoid small parts and anything that could become a choking hazard.

No diagnosis or guarantees

KinLark activities are not medical, therapy, developmental screening, or diagnostic advice.

If a parent has developmental or health concerns, the product should point them toward their child's doctor or a qualified local professional.
