KinLark
Terms of Use
Plain-language terms for using KinLark during the public beta.
Last updated:
Agreement, operator, and eligibility
KinLark is operated by an individual based in China. Questions can be sent to support@kinlark.com.
By creating an account, using KinLark, or purchasing a plan through available paid checkout, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy notice, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Safety Principles, and the Refund Policy.
KinLark may be used only by adults aged 18 or older acting as parents or caregivers. Children must not use the service directly. You confirm that you meet this requirement, have authority to provide the information you submit, and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
KinLark is a public beta with a free plan and optional paid plans. Features may change, pause, or have errors while we improve the service. Paid subscriptions are offered when checkout is available and where Creem supports purchases. Paid plan details and prices are shown on the Pricing page before checkout.
Your content and AI-generated activities
You keep any rights you have in the activity details, feedback, or other content you submit. You give us permission to host, transmit, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, operate, and improve the service. You must have the right to submit it and must not violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
The activity details you submit may be processed by the Google Gemini Paid API to generate suggestions. Do not submit a child's legal name, contact details, medical records, or other sensitive personal information.
AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete or inaccurate. Activities are general ideas for screen-free play, not medical, therapy, developmental screening, diagnostic, or other professional advice, and they are not a guarantee of any outcome.
You are responsible for judging whether an activity is safe and appropriate for your child and your home, for supervising it, and for how you use or share generated output. Similar output may be generated for other parents, and the law may not grant exclusive rights in AI-generated material.
Acceptable use
Please use KinLark for its intended purpose: generating and saving at-home activities for your own family.
Do not use KinLark to submit, request, create, generate, save, share, or distribute adult, sexual, sexually suggestive, sexually explicit, NSFW, pornographic, or sexually exploitative content. This prohibition applies to both your user inputs and AI-generated content, and any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
Do not abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to break the service. To keep a one-person beta sustainable, generation is capped per day; heavy or automated use may be rate-limited or blocked.
Do not use KinLark for any unlawful purpose or to submit content that is harmful or that violates others' rights.
The Acceptable Use Policy, linked in the site footer, forms part of these Terms. We may refuse generation, restrict access, or suspend or terminate an account when we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.
Subscriptions, renewals, cancellation, and refunds
When paid checkout is available, KinLark web subscriptions are sold and processed by Creem as merchant of record. Creem handles payment details, taxes, invoices, payment confirmation, and approved refunds.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout unless canceled before renewal. You can manage or cancel billing from the in-product billing portal.
Scheduled cancellation stops future renewals and normally keeps paid access through the end of the current paid term. A refund, dispute, or explicitly immediate cancellation can end access sooner. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund.
If a payment fails, Creem may retry it and the plan may become past due. We may limit or end paid access if payment is not completed; we do not promise access throughout a provider retry period.
Refund requests are covered by the Refund Policy. Creem may also issue refunds when required by law or to prevent or resolve a payment dispute. For help with billing or refunds, email support@kinlark.com.
Your account, suspension, export, and deletion
You are responsible for the email address you register and for activity on your account.
We may refuse generation, restrict content, suspend access, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the law, or another person's rights have been violated, or when needed to protect the service or another person.
How we handle information is described on the Privacy page. Signed-in parents can download a JSON copy or request account deletion from the Account page, or email support@kinlark.com for help.
Active, trialing, and past-due subscriptions must be canceled or resolved before account deletion. Deletion cannot be undone, does not itself request a refund, and may forfeit any remaining paid access if deletion is available before the paid-through date. Limited billing, provider-reference, and audit records may remain as described in the Privacy notice.
Service ownership and availability
KinLark, its software, site design, brand, and service content are owned by the operator or used under license and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable right to use the service for your family's non-commercial purposes.
Do not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from protected parts of the service except where the law allows it. You may print or save activities and plans for your own family's use.
We may change, limit, pause, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee that the beta will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Disclaimers and limits of responsibility
The service and generated output are provided as-is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, lost data or profits, or loss caused by reliance on generated output or unsafe use of an activity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes, applicable law, and contact
We may update these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date and, when appropriate, explained in the product or by email. If you continue using the service after an update takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer, privacy, and other rights in the place where you live continue to apply when the law requires them.
Please send questions or disputes to support@kinlark.com first so we can try to resolve them.
